Giraffes are the worlds tallest mammals. They are formed with their 6 ft tall legs and their leg necks that grow to be 6 ft long and alone weigh 650lb. Male giraffes can weigh up to 3000 lb. But average around 2,628 lb. Female giraffes average to be 828kg (1825lb). The male giraffes usually grow and weigh more then the females. Females tend to grow up to 14 ft and the male giraffes grow up to be 18 ft tall. Giraffes height help them to eat and to be able to see if predators are near.
